Verification and Conflicting Information Workshop


This will be a great workshop for only $45! Please join Robert Weinerman from Iron Bridge Resources as he provides updates on the following items:


  • Changes from academic years 2024-2025 to 2025-2026 (tax years 2022 to 2023)
  • V1 Verification of tax filers – documentation requirements
  • FAFSA verification data and non-verification data on the 2023 tax returns
  • Addressing conflicting information related to the taxable scholarship question
  • What is the correct filing status for a person and when does this matter to a financial aid administrator?
  • V1 Verification of non-filers – documentation requirements
  • Tax and non-filer related C codes and how to address them
  • When is a person required to file a tax return?
  • Addressing ISIRs with both Federal Tax Information and a manual statement of non-filing
  • Maximum Pell and the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion

Robert will answer questions throughout the training. The program will include several examples to help clarify confusing points.


The cost of $45 for Tri-State members does not include lunch, but there are several food options on campus and in the general area of the campus. Or feel free to bring your own lunch, if you prefer.
