PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING

The Professional Development and Training Committee is dedicated to providing several training events for our membership each year.  These events are held in-person or via webinar to enhance the skills and knowledge of our membership. 

Events provide training on financial aid administration, leadership development, diversity training, or updates on state and federal regulations. Our goal is to provide knowledge so you can better serve your students and work towards advancing your career.

SPRING WORKSHOP

Tri-State's Spring Workshop is held in March annually.

VERIFICATION TRAINING

Verification Training provides financial aid administrators with annual federal updates and an opportunity to refresh their skills. 

DIVERSITY TRAINING

Diversity training and resources may be provided throughout the year to assist financial aid professional with diversity issues and education.

LEADERSHIP ACADEMY

A Tri-State initiative to bolster leadership qualities in both today's and tomorrow's financial aid leaders.

FINANCIAL AID DIRECTOR'S SERIES

Topics may include best practices for current directors and "What I wish I knew before I became a Director".  



CANCELLATION POLICY FOR EVENTS

Paid registrants may request and receive a full refund of the registration fee (not including membership) up until 2 weeks before the first day of the event.
