Neophyte Training - 2026

This training will provide a complete overview of financial aid for new and/or seasoned financial aid professionals who would like refresher training, and the opportunity to get two NASFAA Credentials included in the cost! The training will be held Monday, July 13th through Thursday, July 16th at Salisbury University in Salisbury, MD.

Our tentative agenda will include:

• Working with intergenerational students and co-workers
• FAFSA 101
• Verification and SAP basics
• Professional judgement
• An Overview of Federal and Private Loans
• Ways to Spot Fraud—and How to Deal With It
• Tri-State information/overview of who we are in DE-DC-MD and what we do as an organization!

This training is offered over 4 days and 3 nights. All meals will be provided, and attendees will be staying in one of the residential dorms on campus.

Early bird registration will be $625 through June 15th. After that date, registration will be $650.
