Salisbury University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Associate Director of Financial Aid.
Primary Job Duties: Provides leadership and guidance to the staff of financial aid with regards to policies and procedures governing the Title IV and processes. Process originations and disbursements of federal aid programs through Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) including Direct Loans, PLUS loans, Pell and TEACH grants. In addition, this position oversees the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) process, Federal Verification process, Special Circumstances Appeals process and the Return to Title IV calculation process.
Minimum Qualifications: (5) five to (7) seven years of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a business or related field.
Preferred Qualifications: Accounting and/or finance experience preferred.
Must be detail oriented and have excellent analytical, customer service, organization and planning, prioritization, problem solving, follow through, time management, and oral and written communication skills. Also, must be flexible and possess the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work well under pressure, work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
This is a full-time, exempt, State position with a full benefits package. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
