  • Position Summary: The Financial Aid Counselor II, Satisfactory Academic Progress is responsible for reviewing and awarding federal and institutional financial aid and the management and tracking of the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) of all financial aid recipients. The Financial Aid Counselor II, Satisfactory Academic Progress is also responsible for providing financial aid counseling assistance to financial aid applicants and parents of dependent students.
  • Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Three (3) years of financial aid experience in higher education
  • Desired Qualifications:
  1. Experience in the management of SAP review 
  2. Experience in interpreting and applying Title IV Federal regulations and awarding policies
  3. Experience in verification and awarding Title IV financial aid funds
  4. Experience using student information system to award financial aid funds
  5. Experience using U.S. Department of Education software and secure websites 
  6. Experience using U.S. Department of Education software and secure websites 
  7. Experience using U.S. Department of Education software and secure websites 
  8. Experience using U.S. Department of Education software and secure websites

  • Work Schedule: 8:30-4:30; Monday to Friday. Occasional evenings and weekends required.
